How to get Republic Day Tickets
Sadly, it can be a very frustrating experience to get tickets for the Republic Day parade. Be mindful that at every ticket counter per day only a certain number of tickets are available for sale. The ticket counters sometimes don’t obtain the tickets until evening. In addition, the number of tickets each person can buy is limited.
Demand for seating tickets reserved for 500 rupee is high and supplies are very low. You can purchase only one such ticket by ID card. But after the ticket counter opens at 10 am they still sell out very fast. It is recommended that you register at 8 am, if you want one of these tickets. The 100 rupee tickets are good and easy to buy, although you can only purchase two tickets by identity card. The tickets for the 20 rupees are generally easy to use.
