In the next couple of weeks, Delhi BJP will take a total of 21000 people from different parts of the city to Ayodhya for free visit to Ram Lalla’s darshan.

Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor said that the plan is to take 3000 people from each of the constituencies in Delhi – New Delhi, South North West, Chandni Chowk, North East, West and East.

As an extension to this thought, the first batch will commence from Feb 5 from Chandni Chowk followed by another group from Keshav puram on Feb 6. A total of 1500 people would be taken in the first bath to kick start this scheme from Delhi’s BJP unit.

The mode of transportation will be through train and Praveen Shankar Kapoor stressed the point that this exercise to take user to Ayodhya pilgrimage would continue in the coming days as well.

Another similar looking program is already running through current ruling party of Delhi state, AAP. Through their “ Mukyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojna “ – any resident of the national capital aged 60 or above can opt to travel for free to any pilgrimage site in India. Also, (as per this scheme) if the person is not in position to travel alone they can accompany one attendant (aged 21 or more) with them. All expenses related to travel, food and accommodation are borne by the Delhi government. Earlier AAP had said that under the Mukyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana, Delhi government planned to send additional batches to Ayodhya for Ram Lalla’s darshan.

Contact your local state / central level government office to obtain more information about this program.
