Delhi Airport Metro Express or also known as the Orange line is operated by the Delhi Airport Metro Express Pvt. Limited, a subsidiary of Reliance Infrastructure. Making travelers, taking domestic as well as International flights so convenient and budget friendly, the Airport Express is one of the most advanced stations on Delhi Metro.

Starting from New Delhi Station and covering a length of 22.7 km, out of which 15.7 km is underground and 7 km is elevated. The Airport Express serves six station including New Delhi Station, Shivaji Stadium, Dhaula Kuan, Delhi Aerocity, Airport and Dwarka Sector 21.

Truly a blessing for travelers, the airport express does not offer convenient commuting service but also makes the entire process of catching your flight more convenient.

The Delhi Metro Airport Express has the first check in facility outside an airport in South Asia.

Travelers catching a flight from T3 and flying with Air India and Jet Airways can check-in at the New Delhi Metro Station, from 6 hours to 2 hours before the schedule departure. International travelers flying to selected destinations can also enjoy this benefit.

WiFi service:

The second metro in the country to offer WiFi service to passengers, travelers taking the airport express will have access to WiFi services at all stations.

Station Amenities:

Passenger traveling in the Airport Express will enjoy tons of amenities such as lifts, baggage trolleys, porter services, wheelchair, ATM, cafes and more.

Airport Express Timing:

1. The first train departs at 5:30 AM from New Delhi Station and at 5:15 AM from Dwarka Sec 21.

2. The last train departs at 11:30 PM from New Delhi Station and at 11:15 PM from Dwarka Sec 21. The Train runs at 15 minutes interval.


The fare from New Delhi Station to Dwarka Sector 21 is Rs 180.

Sources in the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) confirmed that the redesigned alignment had been decided, with the Yamuna Vihar-Mukundpur corridor being the longest one. In fact, when completed, this corridor will be the longest line in the entire Delhi Metro network, covering 55.9km.
