Punjab Kings (PK)
The Punjab Kings (PBKS) are an IPL franchise cricket team headquartered in Mohali, Punjab (IPL). King XI Punjab (KXIP) was founded in 2008, and its current owners are Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia, Preity Zinta, and Karan Paul. The PCA Stadium in Mohali is where the team’s home games are held. They’ve been splitting their home games between Dharamsala and Indore since 2010. After 13 seasons, the squad has only entered the playoffs once, in 2014. That year, they finished second in the league.
The IPL 2023 season will get off on April 1 in Mohali, with the Punjab Kings taking on the Kolkata Knight Riders. PBKS had a mediocre 2022 season, finishing sixth in the league standings. PBKS will compete in the IPL 2023 final on May 28 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, which is in Group B.
