Old (Purani) Delhi Railway Station
The first railway station of Delhi, the Old Delhi Railway Station, also known as Delhi railway station, is located near Chandni Chowk, Delhi. Served by the Northern Railways of India, the Old Delhi railway station lies just about seven km from Cannaught place, the hub of New Delhi. The station is also located close to strategic and historical places of Delhi like the Red Fort, Chawri Bazaar, Jama Masjid, etc.
The Old Delhi railway station is the starting point of many major trains, like Mussoorrie express, Samjhauta express and Pink City Express, amongst others.
