Delhi Dehradun Vande Bharat – Highlights

  • Vande Bharat Express crossing UP from New Delhi will reach Uttarakhand track.
  • The train will leave from Dehradun at 8 am and reach New Delhi station at 1 pm.
  • The train will cover the distance between the two cities in 3 hours 30 minutes.
  • With a total of 16 coaches, including 14 AC chair cars and two executive AC chair cars, the train can accommodate 1,128 passengers.
  • The Vande Bharat train would be flagged off at 11 am on May 25 and will subsequently run daily from May 29.

Vande Bharat Express

A total of 14 Vande Bharat have run in the country so far, a few months back the train was flagged off from Delhi Cantt to Ajmer. In view of the increasing craze of passengers, the government is preparing to run Vande Bharat train on 31 more routes soon. Now Vande Bharat train (Dehradun-Delhi Vande Bharat Express) is going to run between Dehradun to Delhi. Vande Bharat Express is to start operating between Dehradun to New Delhi from 29th May.

Presently six trains operate from Dehradun to New Delhi. This includes Shatabdi, Janshatabdi, Uttaranchal Express, Mussoorie Express, Dehradun-Indore Express, Ujjaini Express, Nanda Devi AC Superfast Express. Now the name of Vande Bharat will also be added to it. Railway officials have made all the preparations for the inauguration ceremony.

Delhi Dehradun Vande Bharat Route

Vande Bharat Express crossing UP from New Delhi will reach Uttarakhand truck. There is no official confirmation about the places where this super fast train will stop between Delhi and Uttarakhand. It is believed that it may have stops at Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Roorkee and Haridwar.

Delhi Dehradun Vande Bharat Fare

The Vande Bharat train operating between Delhi to Dehradun will leave Delhi at 5 pm and reach Dehradun at around 9 pm. On the other hand, this train will leave from Dehradun at 8 in the morning and reach New Delhi railway station at 12 in the afternoon. If we talk about the fare then the fare of AC chair car will be Rs 915 and the fare of AC executive chair car will be Rs 1425.

Delhi Dehradun Vande Bharat Time Table

Many trains still run between Delhi-Dehradun, but their travel time is slightly longer. With the commissioning of Vande Bharat, this journey can be completed in less time. The distance between Delhi-Dehradun is 315 kms. Vande Bharat will take almost 4 hours to complete its journey between Delhi and Dehradun. Meanwhile, it will stop at only a few major stations.
