Delhi Metro Timings on Sunday

Delhi Metro starts late on Sundays as compared to weekdays, we have mentioned first train timings on Sunday from all Metro Lines (both end stations). Before stepping out of home it is advisable to check metro timings. Timings mentioned below are for the first metro train that starts on Sundays from the mentioned station.

Delhi Metro is the largest and busiest metro in India, it consists of 11 daily color-coded lines serving up 285 stations over a total length of 391 kms. Delhi Metro is a fast-saving transport system serving Delhi and its satellite cities of Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Bahadurgarh, Ballabhgarh, Faridabad in the National Capital Region of India.

    Magenta line is NOT runing at 4.55am on Sundays. It starts at 8.00am. On 22May 2022 we got stuck at Terminal 1 Airport Metro station closed said to open at 8.00am.

    The Delhi metro should always be alert to the concerns of its riders and always be open to all the suggestions.

    They should start the metro services early in Sundays also since people in DELHI NCR starts the day very early on all seven days of the week, including Sundays.

    Change time from 8 to 7 am as many students travel from metro to there far away institutes on weekends

    Sunday morning metro should start at 7 am from all stations since many people have to go to their destination for personal visit which they do not do during office days.

    I don’t know why, delhi metro not opening on time sunday.. I am waiting to visit metro station inside but gate is closed due to sunday.. Since morning 6:50 am I am sitting here… I want to go my office my gate is closed .. Delhi metro team should know people are going to office sunday also on time.. But its not opening its very bad… I request to kejriwal and modi ji please open metro vasant vihar gate sunday early at morning..

    It is mentioned metro starts from NOIDA Electronic city at 5.40 AM on sunday Wheas metro station gates open at 8 AM on Sunday. it starts at 5.40 AM on week days not on sundays as claimed above.

    All metros should start at 4 AM on 16th oct for Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon.

    Due to its existing start of its first train at 8AM on Sunday for many metro lines, passengers are suffering a lot and also loosing economically.

    DMRC must review its Sunday policy and start its morning operation before 7AM positively. If required the frequency may be reduced.
