What is MCD Toll Tax?

Depending on their size and category, commercial vehicles entering Delhi must pay a toll of between Rs 100 and Rs 2,000 in addition to the Environment Compliance Certificate fee which is Rs 700 to Rs 1400. In Delhi, tolls are collected by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). Private contractors handle toll tax collecting and remit payments to the local government through competitive bidding processes.

Auto rickshaw –  Rs 305 annually

Taxies – Rs 605 per annum

More than 4 & up to 6 exc. Driver & Conductor. Rs 1130 / year
More than 6 & up to 18 exc. Driver & Conductor. Rs 1915 / year
More than 18 & above exc. Driver & Conductor. Rs 1915 + @ 280/- per passenger.
Loading capacity of Goods vehicles Road Tax
Less than 1 Tonne Rs 665/year
More than 1 Tonne & less than 2 Tonne Rs 940/year
More than 2 Tonneb & less than 4 Tonne Rs 1430/year
More than 4 Tonneb & less than 6 Tonne Rs 1915/year
More than 6 Tonne & less than 8 Tonne Rs 2375/year
More than 8 Tonne & less than 9 Tonne Rs 2865.00/year
More than 9 Tonne & less than 10 Tonne Rs 3320/year
More than 10 Tonne & above 3,790.00 + Rs.470/- per Tonne
For Trailers
Additional of 10 Tonne + less 2 Tonne of trailer 3,790.00 +@ Rs.470/-per Tonne + Rs.465/-
Additional of 10 Tonne + more than 2 Tonne of trailers 3,790.00 +@ Rs.470/-per Tonne + Rs.925/-

The Road Tax of the trailer is levied jointly with its respective registered vehicle only. An extra 25% of the Required Tax will be Collected from Diesel Powered vehicles.
