Educational Facilities in Delhi
Education in Delhi has seen a tremendous growth over the last
few years with new colleges and research institutes being established
in Delhi. Delhi has always been the education hub of India with the

one Open University.
Literacy rate in Delhi is 81.2%.
English is the common medium of study in private schools whereas
government schools still favor Hindi as the study medium. There
are governing bodies of the government that control the curriculum
and examination of schools in Delhi. Schools
in Delhi are affiliated to either Central Board of Secondary
Education (CBSE) or Indian Council of Certificate Examinations (ICSE)
boards.
